Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator

Palestinian Food Industries Union (PFIU) is seeking to employ a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator, for its “Employment of Fresh Graduates in The Food Industry” project.

-Contract Duration: 10 months, renewable based on performance, and project funding
-Position is based in Ramallah

Overall Position Responsibilities:
-Monitoring project activities’ timely implementation according to plans and targets,
-Maintaining project M&E documentation files, and any other related documents,
-Manage Data entry into the excel-based project database, and utilize data to develop reports
-Handling phone and written correspondence with various project stakeholders,
-Write regular donor reports, and other reports as-requested
-Support the development of communication materials, such as media/press releases and success stories, as needed,
-Be able to document events, trainings, etc. using notes, pictures, quotes, etc. for the use of reports, publications and media,
-Follow-up with project beneficiaries and stakeholders,
-Working with the donor’s M&E staff to analyze data and develop/review reports.

Minimum Qualifications and Required Skills:
-Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT or any other relevant field.
-At least 1-2 years of experience with M&E and data analysis;
-Basic understanding of project management principles,
-Proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken);
-Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word,
-Ability to process and analyze information, with high attention to detail,
-Organizational skills, ability to multi-task; and working under pressure;
-Familiarity with food-industry and its reality in Palestine (preferred, but not required)
-Readiness/ability to travel in the West Bank to monitor activities, as needed
