Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Role and Responsibility

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will be responsible for implementing and enhancing existing M&E activities for IIH programs, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of program delivery. This role involves refining the current M&E framework, conducting evaluations, and reporting on program outcomes.

• Implement and enhance the existing M&E framework for IIH programs.
• Collect and analyze data to assess program impact and effectiveness.
• Prepare and present regular M&E reports to management and stakeholders.
• Design and conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the monitoring process.
• Provide training and support to staff on M&E methodologies and tools.
• Collaborate with program teams to ensure M&E activities are integrated into program planning and implementation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of M&E best practices and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation and/or project management, preferably in a non-profit or development context.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills in both Arabic and English.
