The Early Childhood Resource Center (ECRC), a leading Palestinian institution in the field of Early Childhood Education, Care, and Development, is excited to announce two key job openings within our team. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the various activities implemented by ECRC. This role is essential in ensuring that our projects align with the goals and objectives of the Center, contributing to the transparency, accountability, and overall effectiveness of our programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Monitoring and Evaluation Procedures: Design and develop monitoring and evaluation systems and methods at the Center.
- Design Measurement Tools: Create tools to measure the progress and achievement of ECRC’s projects and activities.
- Prepare Reports: Develop external reports, including interim and annual reports, for the Center’s programs and projects.
- Feedback to Project Managers: Provide timely feedback to Project Managers based on monitoring and evaluation findings.
- Ensure Effective Data Collection: Implement data collection and verification procedures (both qualitative and quantitative) to ensure transparency and accuracy.
- Conduct Field Visits: Regularly visit field locations to monitor progress and ensure transparency, accountability, and integrity.
- Organize Capacity Building Sessions: Conduct training sessions to build the capacity of staff in monitoring and evaluation practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related social science field (sociology, statistics, social economics, economics, business administration, etc.).
- At least 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably within civil society organizations.
- Advanced knowledge of monitoring and evaluation systems, including approaches, trends, and methodologies.
- Proven experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting as required by project needs and donor specifications.
- Strong ability to work in a team, maintain professionalism under pressure, and be solution-oriented.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic, with strong writing skills in English.
- Excellent knowledge of various computer systems, software, and MS Office packages.
