Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
The primary purpose of the position of the MEAL Officer - EIE is to:
1. Implement all MEAL related tasks within the ECHO Education in Emergencies project, including design of MEAL tools, implementation and coordination of MEAL tasks (Ex. assessment, monitoring and documentation of project indicators, data cleaning, information management, field level project monitoring, etc.) and support project reporting.
2. Serve as a communication focal point, responsible for developing all communication requirements by ECHO for the ECHO Education in Emergencies project, as per the project Visibility and Communications Plan.
3. Support additional humanitarian information management (ex. 5Ws, SitReps).

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or other related fields with a strong M&E component. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Previous experience in humanitarian MEAL, monitoring projects or data entry.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent understanding and experience with Excel.
- At least 3 years’ experience in MEAL or a monitoring, evaluation or data entry role.
- Visual, design, and/or organization skills.
- Quantitative or qualitative analysis.
- In Design or SPSS, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel
- The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
