Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.
To support the development of MAP’s MEAL systems to achieve greater coherence and maximum impact in our programmes. The MEAL Officer sits in the UK Programme Team and plays a critical role in supporting the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) functions across programmes and implementation offices/sites. This position ensures the effective flow of data and information between implementing teams and UK support teams, guaranteeing high-quality, timely, and accurate reporting. The role contributes to informed decision-making, continuous learning, and accountability to implementing teams and partners, helping to enhance programme impact and success.

The ideal candidate will have some experience in humanitarian/development INGOs is essential. Demonstrable experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Reporting, and/or Learning is essential. Experience in developing primary data collection tools and conducting data collection and entry using digital mobile data collection methods is essential. Excellent facilitation skills, and strong understanding of how to safely and accurately collect feedback from community members. Experience in using Microsoft “Power Bi” will be an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
