Multimedia Specialist

The Ministry of Social Development in Palestine is looking for a talented Multimedia Specialist to enhance our communications efforts through high-quality visual and audio content under European Union funded project. The Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for producing and editing videos, creating graphics, and designing other multimedia content that supports the Ministry’s programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills and creativity to produce compelling content that engages our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and edit videos for promotional, informational, and educational purposes.
• Design graphics, infographics, and other visual content for various platforms.
• Record and edit audio content, including podcasts and interviews.
• Manage multimedia projects from concept to completion, ensuring they align with the Ministry’s goals and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the communications team to develop multimedia content that supports our messaging and campaigns.
• Maintain a multimedia content library and archive.
• Stay current with emerging multimedia technologies and trends.
• Ensure all multimedia content is accessible and meets quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 2 years proven experience as a multimedia specialist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in video production and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects).
• Strong skills in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience with audio recording and editing tools (e.pg., Audacity, Pro Tools).
• Excellent visual storytelling abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for social issues and a commitment to the mission of the Ministry of Social Development.
