The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), officially founded in December 1968, is a national humanitarian organization. Since its establishment, it caters to the health and welfare of the Palestinian people and others in need in the OPT and the Diaspora. It has 4,200 employees in oPt (West Bank and Gaza Strip), Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and Iraq in addition to its volunteer network of more than 20,000 people.

PRCS strives to ease human suffering through its Emergency Medical Services (EMS), preventive and curative health care services, rehabilitation, volunteer activities, and programs promoting social and cultural development, with a focus on the most vulnerable members of the society. PRCS also focuses on the dissemination of the humanitarian values, the fundamental principles of the International Movement of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, in addition to International Humanitarian Law.

PRCS is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual for the full time position of Systems and Network administrator to join the team of ICT department.

Network & System Administrator

Duties & Responsibilities:

-    Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
-    Install and maintain network hardware and software.
-    Analyze and isolate issues and identify security risks
-    Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
-    Evaluate and modify system's performance.
-    Determine network and system requirements.
-    Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
-    Ensure network connectivity throughout PRCS's LAN/WAN infrastructure
-    Design and deploy networks.
-    Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
-    Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of    personal computers as well as printers.
-    Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems.
-    Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
-    Implement and follow-up all different zones (internet, intranet) policies according to requirements and permissions.
-    Assist in deploying new equipment (Personal Computers and printers).
-    Follow-up and monitor all Backup procedures, collect backup data and files from different sites and store these file in the proper safe.
-    Monitor and follow-up the centralized anti-virus system (Clients, Servers) to identify the vulnerabilities and clean the network from different virus, worms, Trojans…etc.
-    Follow up different systems to make sure that these systems are working smoothly.
-    Create/Update/ delete users of different systems like the mail server according to previous approvals.

Qualifications & Experience:

-    Bachelor degree in computer engineering or computer science or any IT related field.
-    3 years of experience with networking and systems management knowledge at least.
-    MCITP, CCNA, Security +, UTM, VMware.
-    Firewall operations.
-    LAN & WAN troubleshooting.
-    Ability to work under pressure while on call 24/7.
-    Proficiency in English (oral and written).
-    Information security certificates.
