Network Engineer

 

The Arab American University is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the Network Engineer position for its Computer Center:

Duties & Responsibilities:
1-Responsible for designing, installing and maintaining LAN, WAN, IPS, FW and VoIP infrastructures.
2-Network and Information security Architectures deployment.
3-Provides high-level technical support for voice and data network systems.
4-Ensures the smooth operation & administration of data and voice network.
5-Creates and maintains network documentation, maintains hardware and software standards.
6-Evaluates technical solutions and adopts the suitable ones to the University.
7-Technical adviser to a variety of committees dealing with matters of network.

Qualifications & Experience:
1-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Telecom Engineering.
1-Minimum 2 years working experience in Network field.
2-Well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems.
3-Network Certificates are preferred such as (CCNA, CCNP... etc.)
4-Excellent problem management and customer service skills.
5-Fluency in English and Arabic spoken and written.
6-Ability to work in a team environment.
7-Good communication skills.
8-Good presentation skills.
9-Ability to analyze and prioritize
