O&M Field Engineer (Water and wastewater)

Arabtech Jardaneh engineers and architects is seeking to employ the following to work in Palestine for a USAID Funded Project:

O&M Field Engineer (Water and wastewater) Ref.: (Rd.In W01)

General Description:
-This assignment is for six to seven month with a possible extension.
-Ability to collect information from the field concerning water & wastewater sector O&M, equipment, policies, procedures, management, & general O&M of the sector.
-General O&M understanding of the water & wastewater sector.
-Ability to read documents such as Standard Operating Procedures & O&M Manuals.
-Ability to read & write effectively in English.
-Ability to communicate effectively & well with peers, field personnel, & administration in the water & wastewater sector.
-Ability to write reports in a clear & concise format with appropriate supporting data, graphs, & details.
-Computer literate.

Work Experience Requirement:
-Completion of internship program or initial work engineering or industrial company.
-Have at least 1 year knowledge & experience in water & wastewater technology.
-Have experience with the formulation & production of technical reports in the English language.
-Experience with computer software.
-Be able to assess & understand blueprints, O&M Manuals, technical documents, schematics,
etc.

Educations Requirements:
-Degree college graduate in engineering, Science, or related field.

Other Requirements Related to the job:
-Fluent English Language skills (reading, writing and speaking)
-Good communication skills (able to communicate with all levels of workers)
-Have sense of initiative and ownership
-Good team working skills-strong desire to learn and exel.
-Ability to follow instructions.
-Excellent Microsoft Office skills-particularly spreadsheets and formulation of reports.
-Ability to meet schedules and deadlines-works well under pressure-ability to multi-task.
-Valid Driving Licenses.
-Ability to understand ”technical” and “scientific”
