Future Iron Pipes (FIP)
Based near Dahria, Hebron. FIP is a pioneering  Privatly owned Manufacturer of coated and lined steel pipes. Working since 2008, FIP serves the Palestinian Market  in pipe diameter range from ½ ” -16” ( 15mm – 400mm) and length ranges from 6.0 meters to 12.2 meters. All systems and procedures necessary to assure safe and timely operations and ease of data retrieval are properly initiated and fully documented in full compliance with ISO9001:2008. FIP is NSF-61 listed, and accredited by Lloyds total, and certified to peruse coating and lining applications.

The purpose of the job:
The operational manager will be responsible for the overall management of FIP staff (engineers and workers) supervise the quality and production process to ensure that FIP products are provided in a high quality, effective and efficient manner.

Under the supervision of the General Director, the operational manager will be  responsible for:
1-FIP Personnel  Management
-Evaluate the current engineering staff and propose necessary staff modifcations/recruitments
-Manage the daily workplan for 20-25 workers and 6 engineers in accordance with clients orders and quality process required.
-Train engineers and workers for any needed topic related to enhance work quality, cost effectivencess and efficent time usage within the working hours.
-Train and supervise engineering department (operation, quality and maintenance).
-Lead the recruitment process for required engineering staff upon need and with validation from the General Director.

2-Direct Management of the production process in FIP.
-Supervise implementation of the client’s orders in coordination with procurement department providing full estimation of availability of resources and delivery time required.
-Ensure spare parts availability for the various machines in duty
-Ensure engineering staff is well familier to perform mainatenance works in a timely and cost efficent manner
-Supervise the quality process over the production process being able to provide effective support to the quality control department.
-Ensure the availability of the raw material in coordination with the procurement department.
-Provide technical orientation to clients.
-Cultivate new relations with internal plaestinian interfaces (private and public) and with external donor interfaces for the better of FIP marketing strategy

3-Assist General Director in overall leadership of FIP
-Support the General Director in developing and updating the marketing strategy of FIP products inside and outside Palestinian Markets. 
-The Operational Manager will work with the General Director and financial manager to prepare and implement annual, quarterly and monthly budgets and will perform other similar or related duties such as providing technical advice and instructions to subordinates.
-Call and chair various personnel meetings, review and prepare a variety of reports and correspondence.
-Travel within and outside West Bank as may be required to manage FIP business and to secure or develop new business in line with FIP marketing strategy.
-Represent the General Director, as and when delegated to do so.

Minimum Skills required:

-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Master Degree in Engineering or Business Managment is advance.
-Minimum 10 years of practical experiance as Manager in Industrial Facilities, experience in Pipes Manufacturing process is an advance.
-Experience in shot plasting machines, induction heaters, extruders and PLC controls  and internal cement lining technology is an advance.
-Must have specific management, HR experience and demonstrate success in the set-up of production lines, especially in the extrusion field.
-Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
-Excellent computer skills
-Excellent communication ,organisational and interpersonal skills
-Ability to maintain positive work environment and good relations with FIP staff
-Ability to work under pressure and be multi-task oriented.
-Ability to travel abroad when needed.
