INJAZ Palestine is an independent Palestinian non-profit NGO. Through partnerships with the private sector and educational sectors, INJAZ provides relevant programs delivered by trained volunteers from the Palestinian private sector to inspire and educate youth about entrepreneurial and leadership skills, helping to enhance their economic opportunities.
Madrasati Palestine, led by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Adbullah, aims to improve the quality of education in selected schools in East Jerusalem through providing them with support on an infrastructural as well as the programmatic level.
The initiative operates under the auspices of the Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf and Isalmic Affairs.
INJAZ Palestine, in partnership with Madrasati Palestine, is implementing a project to strengthen employment, entrepreneurship and service learning opportunities for young Palestinians between the ages of 12-18 in Jerusalem.
We seek a dynamic and creative Operational Officer with excellent conceptual, analytical, and coordination skills to oversee the implementation of INJAZ programs. The Operational Officer will be based in Madrasati Palestine’s Jerusalem office.
Position Duties
-Implements and manages daily operations of INJAZ programs.
-Contribute to the building and maintaining of partnerships with local business and industry leaders.
-Maintain strong relationships with local media and coordinate local public relations initiatives.
-Assures program quality, and expansion.
-Participate in planning, and monitoring of INJAZ activities.
Personnel Requirements
-Relevant university degree.
-2 years experience in youth-related programming.
-Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
-Experience in public relations and working with the media.
-Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
-Advanced computer skills
-Jerusalem ID holder.
-Proven project design, planning, bidding, documentation, monitoring, and report-writing skills
-A valid driving license
-Ability to work in a team and under pressure
