Business Alliance HR is recruiting an Operations and HR Officer for a FMCG (Import & Distribution) Company, located in Ramallah, Palestine. 

Contract Type: Full-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operational Tasks:

  1. Handling overall office administration management and coordinating various office services and activities.
  2. Managing day-to-day office operations, including scheduling appointments, events and conferences, managing supplies, and handling incoming/outgoing mail.
  3. Conducting translation from English /Arabic and Vice versa during meetings with international vendors.
  4. Managing the relationships with local/ International vendors and service providers and following up on any required documents, reports, etc.
  5. Maintaining an organized office environment, acts as the primary point of contact for all office-related inquiries.
  6. Developing, implementing, and maintaining office policies and procedures.
  7. Booking transport and accommodation for local and international events.
  8. Ordering office supplies, stationery, and IT equipment and following up on Vehicle maintenance. 
  9. Dealing with correspondence, complaints, and queries. 
  10. Preparing letters, presentations, and reports.
  11. Attending meetings with senior management.
  12. Generating, receiving, and maintaining confidential and sensitive files and reports, and managing the office archive and filing system.
  13. Managing the Petty cash as per company policy.
  14. Performing other related duties as assigned from the direct manager.

Human Resources Tasks: 

  1. Supporting the hiring process by scheduling appointments, conducting orientation, maintaining records and information, etc.
  2. Welcoming new employees to the company by conducting orientation.
  3. Monitoring and managing time and attendance records.
  4. Maintaining employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
  5. Organizing employee events and activities.
  6. Assisting in implementing the company’s HR plan and policies.

Special Requirements & Skills: 

  1. Proven hands-on experience as an Operations and HR officer, or Administrative Officer.
  2. Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize
  3. Fluent in English writing and speaking.
  4. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  5. Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.
  6. Excellent collaboration skills with employees, stakeholders, and vendors.
  7. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  8. Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
  9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
  10. Focused and self-disciplined.
  11. Thoroughness and attention to detail.

Years of experience:

Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Location:
Ramallah, Palestine.

Languages Required:
Fluent in Arabic & English.
