Location: Ramallah, West Bank
Reports to: Operation and Logistic Manager

Global Communities is seeking to hire an Operations and Logistics Officer. The position will be responsible for administering Global Communities operations activities and procedures. We are looking for passionate, dedicated professionals to help us build the world we envision: one of expanded opportunity, where crises give way to resilience and all people thrive.
Responsibilities
- Support the Operations Manager in planning and executing operational activities.
- Ensure office functions including the maintenance of office equipment, timely replenishment of office supplies and stationery, timely payment of all office utility bills.
- Responsible for travel arrangements and hotel booking and settling associated payments.
- Oversee and coordinate the purchase, receipt and distribution of office supplies and stationery
- Maintain updated record of inventory/assets and prepare regular reports.
- Follow up and track rental and service contracts, prepare change requests, payment requests and maintain updated documentations of the files.
- Review requests for office and kitchen supplies and ensures sufficient stock for employees is maintained.
- Under the direction of the Operations & Logistics Manager, conduct WB procurement activities, including completing purchase requests and other documents, collecting quotations/bids, interacting with vendors, and updating the Procurement Database and other files.
- Prepare the required documentation of completed and ongoing financial transactions in accordance with GC and donors’ rules and regulations.
- Oversee all vehicle management in the WB, including maintaining vehicle files, vehicle log-sheets, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Supervise support staff, including custodian and driver.

Qualifications
- BA degree in business administration or any related field
- Previous work in USAID funded projects is highly preferred.
- At least three years of organizations ’operation /or management experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good supervisory skills and Strong communication skills.
- Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- High level of attention to details, initiative, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work independently, unsupervised and cooperatively with team members.
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
- Good Computer skills including MS office suite.
