Optometrist – Kufor Aqab Clinic

St John Eye Hospital Group is the leading provider of eye care in East Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza Strip. The main Hospital is in Jerusalem and has centers in Hebron, Anabta, Kufur Aqab and in Gaza. In addition to our extensive range of specialist services, to provide full and comprehensive high standard refraction and optemtric service to the patients attending the outreach clinic in collaboration with the medical, nursing and AHP staff. 

 We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Optometrists on a full – time basis - 5 days/week, to work at our Clinic in Kufor Aqab.

To apply you should have the following:

1. Optometry Degree.
2. Computer skills.
3. Minimum of three years’ experience in Optometry & Contact Lenses.
4. Basic Life Support encouraged to take ACLS courses, if possible.
5. Evidence of continuing professional development.
6. Capable of working in a multi-disciplinary team and flexible.
7. Flexible working hours.
8. Ability to communicate fully with staff and patients at all levels.
9. Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) fluently in English. (All hospital documents are in English).
10. An ability to present effectively to an audience using a variety of presentation methods e.g. overhead projectors for teaching purposes etc.
11. Calm manners.
12. Alert.
13. Methodical and organized.
