Pharmacist

St John Eye Hospital Group is the leading provider of eye care in East Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza Strip. The main Hospital is in Jerusalem and has centers in Hebron, Anabta, Kufur Aqab and in Gaza. In addition to our extensive range of specialist services, to provide full and comprehensive high standard refraction and optemtric service to the patients attending the outreach clinic in collaboration with the medical, nursing and AHP staff. 

St. John is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Pharmacist on part-time basis (20%), the locum Pharmacist is expected to work in the pharmacy on Fridays and when our pharmacist is on leave. The position will be based at the main Hospital in Jerusalem.

To apply you should have the following:

1. Pharmacy Degree.
2. Computer skills.
3. Minimum of three years’ experience post specialisation in pharmacy.
4. Israeli License form the Israeli Ministry of Health.
5. Evidence of continuing professional development.
6. Evidence of research work is desirable.
7. Capable of working in a multidisciplinary team.
8. Flexible working hours.
9. Ability to communicate fully with staff & patients at all levels.
10. Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) fluently in English (All hospital documents are in English).
11. An ability to present effectively to an audience using a variety of presentation methods e.g. overhead projector for teaching purposes etc.
