Physical Education Supervisor

Right To Play is a humanitarian non-governmental International Organization with offices
based in Ramallah, Nablus and Bethlehem. The organization delivers Sport for Development programs with the world’s most disadvantaged children and communities.
Projects are currently implemented in the West Bank. Right To Play is seeking a Physical
Education Supervisor based in Ramallah.
JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Physical Education Supervisor
START DATE: 1st June 2009
The primary responsibility of the Physical Education Supervisor is to implement Right To Play programs which:
-Deliver SportWorks training programs for teachers at schools and with community groups.
-Raise awareness of the SportWorks programs and establish relationships with schools,
community-development organizations.
-Liaise with local institutions, sports volunteers, teachers and community coaches to support program implementation.
Qualifications needed:
-Post secondary education degree in a relevant field (i.e. social sciences)
-Previous experience in social work or alike field.
-At least 5 years experience working with NGO’s grassroots.
-Experience working with children and children with special needs.
-Sport and physical activity background in physical education and sport works.
-Good networking skills.
-Effective report writing skills.
-Fluent in Arabic with good written and verbal communication skills in English.
-Ability to work under pressure.
-Solid team player, creative, and motivated.
-Ability to move between project sights.
-Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-Driving licence is an asset.
