THE JOB

Under the guidance and supervision of the Rehabilitation and Mainstream Officer ( RMO) , the physical rehabilitation supervisor based in Gaza City, will

-conduct training needs assessment of the outreach and center based system to identify gaps in service provision in collaboration with the technical advisor
-participate with the technical advisor ( TA)  in providing technical support to the outreach and center based teams of partner organizations in Gaza.
-Follow-up and monitor the activities /services provided by the outreach and center based teams of partner organizations in Gaza Strip five governorates.
-Train, follow up and support the partners outreach and center based teams’ members in applying the HI and partners agreed on quality criteria in their intervention with children with cerebral Palsy and children with multiple disabilities (CwCP/MD).
-Assist the technical advisor in developing strategies to ensure that outreach teams are promoting a holistic approach when working with CwCP and CwMD and their families
-Supervise , and technically support the outreach teams in identifying CwCP and CwMD needs of assistive devices.
-Follow up the process of outreach and center baesd teams referrals to available leasing systems of assistive devices.
-Assist the TA and RMO in developing training packages and delivering technical trainings and information to build the capacity of the outreach and center based teams
-Assist the TA in the preparation of Core team training.
-Follow up the implementation of trainings of outreach teams and center based teams to families of CwCP/MD.

 
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

-Must have at minimum a bachelor degree in Physical Therapy.
-Remarkable experience in the field of outreach and center based rehabilitation services provision for children with disabilities, especially children with CP/follow up and training
-Previous work experience with INGO
-Proficiency in MS Office.
-Strong organizational skills. Diplomatic with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Sensitive to the needs of vulnerable groups.
-Fluent in English (written and spoken), and Arabic.

Initial contract will be for a period of 11 months and the position is based in Gaza.
