Portfolio Analyst

MEII is seeking a highly motivated Portfolio Analyst to join our team. The Portfolio Analysis will be part of the Portfolio team, and responsible for a diverse range of specific technical functions, which include among others: 

Key Responsibilities:

The Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for:

• Conducting financial, administrative and other analysis as necessary to assess eligibility of borrowers;
• Performing due diligence and credit analysis on proposed loans;
• Preparing credit/rescheduling/restructuring reports, to management and credit committee;
• Providing technical assistance and otherwise work with lenders to identify project pipeline and efficiently assess eligibility of loans;
• Assess TA requirements of loan officers, and develop customized capacity building strategy related to SME credit;
• Review and monitor lender’s portfolio, and required reports;
• Manage all aspects of a portfolio of loans from assigned participating Lenders; and
• Submit timely and accurate periodic reports to Senior Management.

Qualifications:

• Education: A University degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in credit or investment field.
• Skills: Solid knowledge of credit analysis, financial analysis, risk management, credit administration procedures, and excellent Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel;
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience in collaborative work environments.
• Language: Excellent written and spoken English is required.
