Background:
INJAZ Palestine is an independent Palestinian organization non-profit NGO dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. INJAZ programs are delivered by corporate and community volunteers, who provide relevant, hands-on experiences that give students from high school knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.
Objective:
INJAZ Palestine is looking for a dynamic and creative Procurement Assistant who will work under the supervision of the Administrative and Finance Officer and assist in implementing the following duties:
-Communicate with suppliers, negotiate bids and contracts, and develop products and services’ specifications to be purchased.
-Prepare purchase orders/acquisitions, and guarantee product’s delivery, quality, receipts, and warranties.
-Monitor and handle inventory (monthly/yearly).
-Archive records of procurement documents.
-Monitor and evaluate the procurement process.
-Conform with and maintain knowledge of specific legislations, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or other related fields
-At least 2 years of experience in procurement field
-Networking skills and commercial awareness
-Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic
-Ability to work under pressure, and meet specific targets and tight deadlines
-Valid driving license is required
