Procurement Intern
Summary:
The general purpose of this internship is to support the Procurement team in activities related to Emergency and recovery in Gaza. He/she will assist the procurement unit in preparing specifications, contracts, and purchase orders. The Intern will be an integral part of Anera’s procurement team and will work closely with them to ensure best procurement practices are followed.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the procurement team by getting specifications, researching vendors, negotiations, bid and contract preparation
- Tracking orders, and maintaining procurement records.
- Review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Help in maintaining organized files for procurement activities, including paper and electronic files.
- Maintain the database for the vendor list
- Follow-up on processing Zero VAT approvals from the Ministry of Finance for procurements as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the procurement team.
Qualifications:
- A university Degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
- A minimum of one year of working experience in procurement is an asset.
- Experience with donor-funded projects, preferably with NGOs-funded projects.
- Training or on-the-job training on procurement issues.
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Adherence to deadlines and regulations.
