Position Title: Product Owner

Position Description: Reporting to the CTO and working laterally with Senior Project Managers, the Product Owner leads software development teams to deliver industry-leading solutions that meet clients’ custom expectations. This position is full-time, based in Ramallah, and requires supervision of software development staff.

Responsibilities:
-Lead one or more cross-functional agile development teams, comprised of multiple developers.
-Shape the product roadmap, define scope, lead estimation efforts, and prioritize features/development tasks.
-Write and maintain all technical specs and product user stories by performing business analysis, working with the Senior Project Manager and other team members to understand use cases, features, functional specifications and domain rules.
-Prioritize and maintain the product backlog and release plan.
-Carry out detailed code review for all developers on the product team.
-Bring requirements to the ‘ready’ state prior to Sprint/Iteration commitments, by writing appropriate documentation and acceptance criteria.
-Collaborate with Senior Project Managers to run successful Release Planning and Sprint/Iteration Planning sessions, as well as Sprint/Iteration Reviews and Retrospectives.
-Working with the Senior Project Manager, lead all technical aspects of English-language client showcases, briefings, and requirements gathering meetings.
-Lead improvements in software team efficiency and effectiveness, manage risk, and deliver high value to customers and end users.
-Manage the collection, analysis and distribution of product metrics to inform the team and the business on the performance of the product.

Required Qualifications:

-MA/MSc or equivalent sector experience.
-5+ years of experience leading multiple, concurrent full project lifecycles, from concept to delivery.
-Advanced knowledge of project planning tools, such as JIRA.
-Native-level proficiency in English.
-Extensive prior experience leading documentation and ongoing elaboration of software requirements and specifications, including use cases, user stories, and detailed specifications.
-Extensive prior experience leading client-facing technical meetings and user story design sessions, for international/English-speaking clients.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent organizational skills; creativity and objective-oriented focus.
-Experience producing requirements for SDKs and public APIs that serve development communities preferred.
-Experience with mobile technologies.
