Consultant: Production of Animation Video

Background

QADER for Community Development is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting better well-being of persons with disabilities (PwD) in Palestine. QADER endeavors to positively influence public policies, develop capacities of relevant stakeholders, and promote public awareness and disseminate information pertinent to PwD rights and issues; all according to the priorities of PwD and on the basis of national and international human rights, and the principles of equality and social justice.

QADER was founded in 2008 by a group of Palestinian professionals with diversified expertise in health, disability, development, and human rights. Since its founding, QADER has assumed its functional responsibility thereinafter addressing the disability issue from a human rights perspective, and demonstrated a rights’ based approach in tackling the various issues of PwD.

About the project:

“Enhancing Inclusion & Participation of Vulnerable Groups into Local Planning”

The project is a pilot initiative that aims to advance local development planning in small communities, and draw substantial emphasis on the inclusion and participation of various social groups, especially the marginalized ones, in the entire planning process. In addition to fostering social accountability as integral approach in the entire planning process within a holistic perspective to increase civic engagement in exacting accountability toward public local authorities against their obligations towards their citizens.

Purpose of the Assignment

The purpose of the assignment to produce an animation video on inclusion and participation of Vulnerable Groups in local development planning.

Special Specifications

• The videos language is Arabic.
• Duration of each video is 2 minutes.
• Provide English subtitles.
• HD production.
• Provide a suitable version for social networks.
• Commitment to time schedule.

Scope of work

The consultant shall carry out the following tasks:

• Develop the general idea and scenario in cooperation with QADER’s team.
• Produce original soundtracks.
• Produce the video after QADER’s approval on Characters and scenario.
• Commit to copyrights, especially the characters and the soundtrack.
