AMIDEAST, an international non-profit organization in the West Bank and Gaza, is seeking full-time qualified candidate for its USAID funded education program-Model Schools Network (MSN) Program. AMIDEAST is recruiting for the position of Professional Development Assistant
Professional Development Assistant
Position code: MSN 087
Overall Position Responsibilities:
To manage all logistics leading to the successful delivery of all professional development activities for the 40 public schools, particularly in the central areas of Jerusalem, Jericho and Ramallah.
Specifically, the position is responsible for the following duties:
-Coordination of the blended components of the professional development; face-to-face, learning circles and observations with the math, science and English, and IT public school teachers and principals.
0Manage all logistics associated with training and related activities.
-Contribute to the organization and coordination of the Learning Communities Conferences.
-Follow up with the trainers on all financially related aspects of the training.
-Assist in preparing payment requests for the vendors, and ensure prompt preparation of their payments.
-Keep updated records of all trainees.
-Keep updated files with the training materials, and attendee lists.
-Contribute to the monthly and quarterly reports.
-Assist the Senior PD Advisors in English, Math and Science when needed.
-Any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Required Skills
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field
-A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
-Good coordination skills
-Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to work under pressure and follow-up on details.
-Ability to travel to training sites.
-To be an active member of a team.
