Overview:
Khayari Women’s Leadership & Economic Empowerment Organization is a new organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting an overlooked population in Palestinian communities—educated women aged 20 to 25. We offer a 36-month leadership and economic empowerment project tailored to the social, civic, and religious needs of university-educated women from Palestinian cities, villages, and refugee camps. Khayari provides a platform for professional development, peer support, and leadership and economic training, with a focus on women from diverse religious backgrounds, and locations.
Khayari’s mission is to offer sustained training that empowers women to make decisions about their lives and reach their full potential in Palestinian society. Our vision is to create a vanguard of self-sustaining, micro-entrepreneurial Palestinian women who work in formal markets with legal protections and take on leadership roles that shape local life and governance.
Job Description:
Khayari Women’s Leadership & Economic Empowerment Organization is seeking a dedicated and organized female Program Coordinator for a part-time, semi-remote role. This position will focus on recruiting Palestinian women to enroll in our empowerment program, organizing and managing weekly training sessions, ensuring the curriculum aligns with the participants' needs and program’s vision, and gathering feedback and conducting monitoring and evaluation after each session. The coordinator will also assist with general project coordination, administration, and reporting to the Executive Director. Flexibility for remote work is required, with a presence needed at weekly trainings and essential meetings. The role may also involve local and international travel as necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Recruit Participants and maintain regular communication with the participants.
- Organize and attend in-person weekly training sessions and assigned meetings.
- Design the training and program curriculum.
- Reporting about the program in both English and Arabic.
- Posting and overseeing content on social media and website platforms, ensuring they are updated regularly.
- Managing administrative tasks related to the program, ensuring smooth operations.
- Conducting regular monitoring and evaluation after each training session to assess the program's effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English is advisable, as reporting and communication will often be required in both English and Arabic.
- Experience in program coordination, particularly in women’s empowerment or related fields.
- Ability to work semi-remotely, with reliable internet access and a personal laptop.
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills to interact with participants and team members.
- Experience with social media management and website maintenance.
- A passion for women's empowerment and familiarity with the social and cultural context of Palestinian communities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally if required.
