Job Title: Welfare Association (Taawon) for Youth (WAY) Program Manager
Reports To: Director General

Purpose of Position:
Bear the overall responsibility of managing WAY Program including the management of action plans, budget, fundraising, administrative, and media and communication. Coordinate work between WAY and Taawon to ensure efficient and effective productions. Achievement of Taawon objectives in effective engagement of youth.
Responsibilities & Duties:
In accordance with established WA policy & regulations:
Strategy and Governance:
-Lead the process of the overall strategy and action plan development of WAY
-Plan and develop WAY’s governance model including regulations of relevance in coordination with WAY chapters, WAY committees, Taawon -DG, and Taawon- Youth Engagement Committee.
-Lead program development activities including setting the Key performance indicators
Program Management:
-Lead the process of program development including action plans of projects and activities
-Manage programs and projects of relevance ensuring adherence to the WA strategic plan declared objectives, and compliance to Taawon and donors requirements.
-Monitor the implementation progress to ensure the achievement of program / project deliverables in a quantitative, qualitative, and timely fashion
-Manage the process of evaluation and assessment of WAY program, projects and activities
-Design and implement programs that would serve as a platform for youth to be positively and effectively engaged in the diverse realm of philanthropy
-Prepare and manage WAY budget properly
-Prepare periodic progress reports including budget, successes stories, lessons learned and recommendations to develop WAY Program
Fundraising:
-Suggest and oversee fundraising strategy
-Manage WAY program-wide fundraising plans and related proposals
-Document baselines, progress, and reports to donors.
Communication, relations and networks:
-Provide needed support to WAY members and committees in setting the Media and communication strategy and action plans.
-Initiate and manage strategic partnerships with compatible organizations, donors and beneficiaries
-Manage the recruitment of new members and the establishment of new chapters.
-Create networks and maintain good public relations.
-Manage relationships among WAY chapters and between WAY and Taawon to ensure maximum synergy.
-Manage the Taawon’s mentoring Program, to enhance integration of WAY members into Taawon
-Prepare periodic progress reports including budget, successes stories, lessons learned and recommendations to develop WAY Program
-Manage, and update WAY Membership database.
-Manage all necessary arrangements and preparations for WAY meetings and events
Human Resources:
-Support in the recruitment and evaluation of needed WAY program staff / consultants.
Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience:
-Higher education (minimum of a BA degree) in Social Studies or any field of relevance, in addition to sufficient knowledge and experience in Youth programs.
-Proven track record (5years) in program cycle management in general and in managing Youth Leadership Programs/Activities.
-Transformational leadership skills with passion, enthusiasm and commitment to develop youth
-Good skills in budget preparation, monitoring and evaluation
-Good Experience in managing networks and planning events.
-Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and Arabic.
-Proficient in latest social media and digital communication tools.
