Programme Associate- Partnership
This job is found in Regional Bureaux (RBs), Country Offices (COs), Area/Field Offices (AOs/FOs). Job holders performing front office management functions typically report to the Partnership Officer.
At this level, job holders are expected to demonstrate responsibility and initative to respond independently to various queries with only general guidance. They have responsibility for undertaking specialized donor and reports writing work. There is a requirement to use judgment in dealing with unforeseen problems on a daily basis.
To coordinate and control a full range of tasks for a specific professional area of work, to ensure that tasks are delivered effectively.

Support projects and operational activities that maintain and develop partnerships with governments, the private sector, UN clusters, UN agencies and other relevant stakeholders in order to maximize coordination and resources raised for the programme.

Solicit inputs, including operational updates, including from other WFP entities, to support the work led by Head of Partnerships to inform partner audiences on WFP’s programmatic offering; support drafting quality briefs and proactively highlight strategic issues to senior staff to inform best course of ac?on and nurture partnership growth.

Contribute to partnerships strategies, including the development of Partnership Action Plans.

Support drawing up quality partner proposals and reports.

Collate data, analyze, and support the preparation of accurate and timely reports to donors and other stakeholders.

Support preparations for organizing donor/diploma?c missions to WFP offices and operations and support producing relevant power point and digital presentations and briefing materials.

Knowledge and skills:
- Good communication skills in order to provide specialized business support services to a wide range of individuals.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Ability to proactively identify and recommend areas for improvement to the Partnerships unit.

- Experience in coordinating own work and supporting others.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
STANDARD MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area. Completion of undergraduate degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Political Science, International Development, Development Economics, Marketing Communications, Media or other relevant field is desirable.
Language:
Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic. Knowledge of one additional UN language would be advantageous.
Experience:
6 years of relevant experience in the sphere of data collection and analysis, and reporting. Additionally, computer soft skills including work on Power Point, Excel, and specific online systems.
