Mercy Corps, an international non-governmental relief and development agency, is seeking candidates who will be in charge of the implementation of Cash for Work program funded by Qatar Charities. The following required positions are based in Gaza:
Programme Manager (12 months renewable)
Main Responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for the implementation of Mercy Corps work intervention in the
governorates of Gaza, Deir Blalah, and Khan Younis.
• Establish and maintain relationships with partner organization incl. drafting of agreements
• Work with staff at the finance department in Gaza & Jerusalem as required.
- Write reports for internal and external purpose in English & Arabic

Requirements:
- University degree in Social Science, Development Studies, Project Management or other
relevant field.
-At least 7 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Possession of a valid driving license is required.

Programme Coordinator (12 months renewable)
Main Responsibilities:
• Serve as linkage between programme and administrative team member.
• Assists management in coordination of overall programme activities and in planning and
performance of monitoring and evaluation duties.
- Providing board range of administrative and programmatic support to the Mercy Corps team.
Requirements:

Field Assistant (12 months renewable)
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise work groups leaders and oversee the day to day efforts of work groups in
implementation of work projects.
- Develop and maintain good relation with Community committees.
- Implement projects as planned according to developed schedules and timelines.

Social Worker (12 months renewable)
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct Home visits to beneficiaries (target group)
- Assess, evaluate the beneficiaries living status and prepare the workers list
- Develop and maintain good relation with Community committees.
Requirements:

- University degree in Sociology, Psychosocial field or other relevant subjects.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Very Good written and verbal English and Arabic skills.
