Programme Officer

Save the Children Sweden seeks Protection Programme Officer for its office in Ramallah.
She / he will contribute to the enhancement of the impact of SCS’s programme on children
rights in oPt, and strengthening and developing partnership in order to achieve long lasting
positive change for children.
The successful candidate will:
-Supervise and monitor the implementation of the protection thematic projects.
- Work closely with partners on assigned projects to develop implementation plans,
worksheets, and short & long term strategies
- Monitor and following up the implementation of the programme action plan and the
cooperation agreements with partners.
- Ensure proper, professional, documented and clear communication with programme
partners regarding all aspects of the programme activities
-Supervise and coordinate timely, efficient implementation of all programme activities
- Ensure proper, professional, documented and clear communication with programme
partners regarding all aspects of their project activities.
-Edit and review all financial and progress reports received from project partner and ensure timely monthly, quarterly submission to the support office.
- Develop concept papers and prepare proposals to major donors.
-Organize and coordinate field studies and conduct research for projects and programme
development.
Required qualification
- Bachelor degree in Social Sciences, Human Rights Studies, or relevant fields.
-Advanced English language Skills (spoken and written)
- Advanced skills in Project Cycle Management.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in building cooperative relationships
- At least 3 years of relevant NGOs work experience (in Child Protection)
- Commitment to the values and principles of Save the Children Sweden
