Salary: ILS 107,700 Yearly
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the .communities we serve, we're expanding our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating concept notes, proposals, and related documents, as well as monitoring and reporting on project progress. They work closely with the Ministry of Health (MoH) and partners to ensure smooth coordination, including organizing Emergency Medical Team deployments and field visits. The role involves building strong relationships with stakeholders, contributing to communications by preparing success stories and case studies, and supporting fundraising efforts. The Programme Officer may also represent the organization in meetings and participate in emergency interventions as needed.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, ideally demonstrated through qualifications or experience in fields such as health, development, or social sciences. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, data collection, and working with diverse stakeholders, including government and community-based organizations.
They should possess flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning, alongside excellent financial management and reporting skills. Strong written and verbal communication in both English and Arabic, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
