Reporting to: Disability Programme Lead
Contract: 12 Months Fixed-Term (with possibility of extension)
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.
MAP is seeking a Programme Officer who will be responsible for overseeing the full project cycle, from design and implementation to monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. This role ensures projects are delivered effectively, on time, and within budget while maintaining strong collaboration with MAP staff, partners, and the Ministry of Health. The position also supports procurement, logistics, and emergency interventions as needed. Additionally, the role involves maintaining MEAL frameworks, ensuring data-driven decision-making, and contributing to stakeholder engagement, capacity-building, and external representation to enhance programme impact and sustainability.

Additionally, the candidate will possess excellent project management and communication skills, both in English and Arabic, with the ability to manage budgets, ensure financial accountability, and navigate procurement processes. Strong planning, assessment, and analytical abilities, along with proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, is required.
