"Project Advisor“

Tasks and Functions:

-Manage the activities of the Cultural and Social Fund in Gaza and develop new initiatives according
to project goals, team agreements and consultations with the team leader
-Support the Fund’s initiative to provide professional advice and input to cooperate with, a broad
range of target groups, such as political partners, local partners and other relevant organisations
and persons
-Manage innovation and knowledge within the scope of the program and transmit innovation to
-wide range of persons
-Integrate results and experiences into team efforts and into all relevant groups
-Establish and manage a wide network of implementing organisations and other donors in the
area of culture and social activities and as representative of German TC in Gaza.

Required qualifications:

-Minimum Masters degree in Economics, Engineering or Psychology
-Minimally 10 years of professional working experience in the field of international and/or technical
cooperation; experience in project management, in which duties included: project planning
and monitoring with financial responsibilities (knowledge of German procedures an asset),
and supervisory experience
-Contacts to and knowledge of the stakeholders in the field of culture and social services and
high ranking representatives of other donors in Gaza
-Fluent in Arabic and English. Knowledge of German is an asset
-Excellent computer skills, excellent writing skills, in possession of a valid driving licence
-Excellent communication skills
-Cultural and gender sensitivity
-Concise analytical skills and ability to convey thoughts/concepts to higher management.
-Enthusiastic and initiative
