Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for project Assistant, to be based at our Gaza office Palestine in South & Middle of Gaza Strip.
CONDITION:
- It is a local Contract, for this role you must have the right to work in
- This role is fixed-term with a possibility of extension depending on organizational needs and the office expansion
Main Purpose:
To support and coordinate the implementation of multiple Human Appeal projects across emergency response, Food security,WASH, and other sectoral interventions. The role requiers direct oversight project implementation, distribution planning, coordinations with stakeholders, and support in monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities. The assistant will also oversee sub-team performance and ensure efficient and timely delivery of services while upholding Human Appeal's standards.
Accountabilities:
- Coordinate and supervise the implementation of multiple onging projects, ensuring they meet agreed targets and timeline.
- Prepare and manage weekly distribution palns across several interventioons (e.g., Food Parcels, Hot Meals, NFIs).
- Ensure compliance with donor and HA quality, protection, and safety standards during project implementaion.
- Supervise 2 field staff and volunteers during implementation and distributions, ensuring efficient taks delegation and adherence to schedules.
- Liaiase with local partners, suppliers, and municipalities to facilitate project activities and resolve operational challenges.
- Support MEAL processes, including data collection, verification, and feedback response.
- Prepare accurate and timely progress reports and field updates for management.
- Monitor inventory and supplies, flagging procurement needs and ensuring proper stock usage.
- Contribute to lessons learned, post distribution reveiws, and project improvement discussions.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering. Or any related humanitarian development studies
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferably within the humanitarian or INGO sector.
Computer Skills: Advanced computer literacy skills
Language: English and Arabic a must.
