PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR

St John Eye Hospital is the leading provider of eye care in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. The main hospital is located in Jerusalem and the Group in recent years has expanded its services with the provision of a second hospital in Hebron and clinics in Gaza and Anabta.
In addition to our extensive range of specialist services we also provide services within the community through our Outreach Teams which travel throughout the West Bank. St John is a teaching hospital and committed to building the capacity for local doctors and nurses.

We are seeking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator to work in our Fundraising Team on a fixed term one year contract renewable upon funding.
You should be educated to degree level, preferably Business Administration and have at least three years experience in project management and/ or fundraising in the NGO sector. You will have excellent written and communication skills in Arabic and English as well as good computer skills.
You will be responsible for managing fund raising project activities, producing reports both narrative and financial, will be working on own initiative as well as working as part of an international team. The job requires contact with people inside and outside the hospital including donors and requires a high level of interpersonal skill.
