Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies – PITA is the voice of the ICT sector in Palestine. It has more than 180 member companies working in different ICT sectors such as software and outsourcing sector, hardware sector, training and consultancy sector, Internet and telecommunications sectors. PITA is the reference and representative association of private ICT sector, and was founded in 1999 by a group of Palestinian entrepreneurs as a non-profit organization to advance the interests and positive societal impact of Palestine’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector.
PITA offers its members a wide range of exclusive services that help leverage members’ investments and facilitate information exchange among them. Through its varied programs, PITA provides a multitude of services which are aimed at promoting and facilitating the exchange of knowledge, information and deal flow with its members. It also recognizes the need for capacity building where we help companies with technical skills, soft skills training, access to markets, and legal and HR advise. Adding to that; PITA has ad -hoc committees that are comprised of PITA dedicated members who are specialized in certain aspects of the ICT sector. Those committees are devoted to the development of the sector by offering specialized consultancy and following up with different stakeholders in the Palestinian economy.
Position Profile:
The Project Coordination Lead will be responsible for implementation and management of PITA’s projects, where he/she will be responsible for full oversight and implementation of the projects in coordination with PITA’s management. Thus, the lead will oversee and coordinate all aspects of project management, from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the policy unit that will be established within PITA.
- Assist the work of the Advocacy Officer and other project team members.
- Develop and write proposals for new programs and funding opportunities.
- Manage the overall projects’ lifecycle, from planning to execution and closure.
- Ensure timely completion of projects’ deliverables and milestones.
- Monitor and evaluate projects’ progress and final reports, providing regular updates and reports to senior management and donors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for donors and funding agencies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
- Ensure compliance with donor guidelines and contractual obligations.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration and partnerships to enhance project impact.
- Represent PITA at meetings, conferences, and other relevant forums.
- Preparing sources of verifications and projects’ related payments and supporting documents
- Reporting using the donors’ online systems and platforms.
- Writing communication and visibility plans and guidelines required for the projects.
- Writing different ToRs and translating documents as required.
- Maintain and track expenditures/budget for each project.
- Active communication and coordination with project partners, beneficiaries, and donors.

Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, including managing the full lifecycle of projects from initiation to completion.
- Prior experience working in nonprofit organizations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with donors and funding agencies, including reporting and compliance.
- Proven track record of developing and writing successful proposals for new programs and funding opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports, proposals, and communication plans.
- Strong ability to monitor and evaluate project progress, identify issues, and implement solutions.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of donor guidelines and contractual obligations, with the ability to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
- Familiarity with donors’ online systems and platforms for reporting and communication.
