Title: Project coordinator
Place: Gaza Chamber of Commerce and Industries office.
Starting date: As soon as possible

Period: 8 Month
Gaza Chamber of Commerce and Industry is looking to hire a Project Coordinator for the project “Enhancing the employability of laid off Gazan’s Labors”, a 8 month project funded by the International Labor Organization ILO.

Key Responsibilities:
1-Administrative and technical supervision, follow up and implementation of the project activities.
2-Supervision of technical and professional staff involved in the project activities that fall within his/her responsibility.
3-Ensure all project activities are implemented in a timely manner and according to ILO’s rules and regulations.
4-Plan and conduct regular field visits to ensure proper activities implementation on the ground.
5-Prepare periodical reports as requested by GCCI and ILO in consultation with the project management department director.
6-Assist the project management department director in monitoring and evaluating the project by reporting to donor on the project outputs and outcomes.
7-Contribute to the development of new project ideas in the field of work.
8-To document all activities of the project and maintain an efficient project filing system including all project related documents.
9-Perform any other tasks required by project management department director.

Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience:
1-Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or other related field
2-Three years of professional experience in project management, preferably with experience in working with NGO's.
3-Professional level in both Arabic & English language skills.
4-Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English & Arabic.
5-Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
6-Advanced computer literacy.
7-Ability to work under pressure and within a team
