The Role

Oxfam Novib in OPTI is looking for a Project coordinator ( For the Response innovation Lab- RIL) to work at the Gaza (RIL), which is part of the Humanitarian Program (Saving Lives-SL) of Oxfam. The SL Program contributes to improved saving lives programming, policy, partnership and practice in OPT. The position reports to the SL Manager who represents the Response Innovation Lab Manager. The Coordinator will work in close collaboration with Oxfam humanitarian program teams and technical advisors in the different platforms and affiliates. The RIL is part of a Global umbrella of innovation labs in other countries (https://www.responseinnovationlab.com/ ).

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, engineering, science, agriculture or other related studies.
• A minimum of 4 years experience in Humanitarian practice with at least 1 year working in innovation programs.
• A team player and self-starter with good networking skills and project management skills.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Capable of working independently and with demonstrated experience engaging a wide range of
• stakeholders.
• Excellent commination and writing skill, able to synthetize information from various sources and
• produce high quality reports/papers.
• Fluent in Arabic, and English is a must.
• High organizational skills and ability to priorities workload and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools ( PPT, Excel, word, etc.)
• Strong interested in innovations.

Desirable

• Experience working with and managing innovation projects
• Good knowledge of Palestinian context and in particularly of Gaza humanitarian context and challenges.
• Has a well understanding of the existing humanitarian network operating in Gaza.
• Good understanding of innovation and the issues and challenges around it.
• Familiar with new technology based innovation and innovative approaches/methodologies
• Out of the Box thinker.

What we offer

The employee will be contracted by Oxfam with a competitive, fair and comprehensive pay and benefits package that is justifiable to our donors. Salary range 107,376 – 168,662 ILS gross per annum, for a 40 hour contract. Salary offered will be subject to funding available and competences.
