Project Coordinator
The Business Women Forum (BWF) is a national non-profit organization established in 2006, to promote and empower the role of businesswomen and entrepreneurs as leaders in the Palestinian economy through advocacy, influence to create an enabling environment for women in Palestine. BWF works through a comprehensive methodology through provision of business development packages including capacity building, coaching, consultancy and technical support necessary for their business, enhancing access to markets, financing and knowledge, in addition to networking with local, regional and global institutions and organizations.
BWF seeks to hire a qualified Project Coordinator to support BWF in implementing a five-year project titled “Forsah TVET”, which already initiated in 2022, with remaining 4 years.
Project Coordinator: will be reporting directly to the Project Manager.
Full Time: Job daily from 08:00 AM until 04:00 (Friday and Saturday are weekend days off)
Based in Ramallah
Estimated starting date: December 20, 2023
Main Responsibilities is to coordinate and implement project activities in order to achieve the desired results within the set time frames and efficiently utilizing the resources available. The Project coordinator will be responsible to:
- Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Ensure successful coordination and implementation of all project activities including trainings, mentoring, workshops, focus groups, conferences, study tours, etc...
- Monitor project progress and address issues as they arise.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Maintain direct contacts and follow up closely with partners, beneficiaries, and main stakeholders on implementation progress.
- Draft and prepare narrative reports in line with BWF and donor agreement.
- Draft terms of reference (TOR) and agreements for project related consultancies, service provision when needed.
- Ensure that relevant data and information on the project outputs, indicators and impacts are collected.
- Collect relevant monitoring data and engage in needs assessment and data analysis.
- Conduct field visits to different project’s location and meet with beneficiaries/partners to make sure that all related activities are implemented in a best way and according to the plans.
- Contribute in development and publishing the project materials and activities according to donor’s regulation.
- Identify and prepare success stories, and case studies.
- Assist in procurement and logistics.
- Documenting and circulating meeting minutes to stakeholders.
- Any other work-related tasks needed by Project Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in project coordination.
- Very good experience in planning, implementing, monitoring, budget supervision and logistics.
- University degree in business administration or related fields.
- Good knowledge of women economic empowerment programs, and TVET sector.
- Strong team player and communication skills.
- Work under pressure.
- Excellent written and oral communication (Arabic & English).
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet.)
- Ability to travel to the targeted areas of the project. Driving License is a plus
