Job Location: West Bank (Ramallah Office)
Starting Date: Immediate
Duration: One year with the possibility of extension
Reporting To: Operations Director
Directly reporting to this post: Manager of the Humanitarian Projects Department.
Role Summary:
The Project Coordinator, reporting directly to the Projects Department Manager, will efficiently implement humanitarian response and small community initiatives in the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, and Jordan. Their duties include coordinating field activities, providing technical assistance and training to project teams, and addressing capacity gaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to drafting and refining project proposals and detailed project plans for humanitarian and community projects.
- Conduct project needs assessments according to organizational procedures.
- Regularly monitor budget utilization and ensure timely reporting.
- Develop monitoring systems to track project progress and address any obstacles.
- Document successful strategies and share key insights.
- Foster positive relationships with local authorities, partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the project development team to identify new opportunities and maintain organizational and donor visibility.
- Provide guidance and support to field staff, including developing standard procedures.
- Conduct required field visits to monitor project implementation.
- Submit any required documents through the organization's system.
- Fulfill any other tasks delegated by management.

Job Requirements:
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- A relevant academic degree (minimum Bachelor's) in administration, social sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of work experience in project management, including planning, implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively coordinating with multiple partners and stakeholders, including government agencies.
- Experience in managing projects focused on medical support or community support.
- Experience providing technical assistance to project staff, national partners, and governments in psychosocial support, emergency response, participation, and education.
- Previous experience in community services preferred.
- Previous fieldwork experience preferred.
- Good understanding of the Palestinian context.
- Proven experience in working with NGOs.

Qualifications:
- University degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum seven years of experience in a field similar to NGOs and INGOs.
- Proven relevant experience in project implementation in the context of Palestine.
- Knowledge of humanitarian and development standards.
- Experience in working closely with international and local organizations.
