Job Vacancy: Project Coordinator
The Guidance and Training Center (GTC) is a non-profit community mental health center based in Bethlehem and founded in 1994. GTC’s mission is to Provide preventive and therapeutic services in the area of mental health, especially for the child and family, and generally for the local community, and to pursue the development of knowledge, skills, and experiences of workers in this field and conducting research through programs that meet the needs of the target groups in the best professional and scientific way possible, aiming to participate in the development of mental health in the Palestinian society. The GTC is looking to recruit a Project Coordinator according to the following requirements:
Contract type: Full time – Part time
Contract duration: one year- renewable

Project Coordinator
Main responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and oversee all project management functions including coordination with the human resources unit, accounting department, and any other logistics support.
- Provide effective logistic, financial, and management support to the project.
- Manage budgets and ensure efficiency and accountability.
- Coordinate the financial-related issues in full coordination with the accounting department.
- Ensure proper, professional, documented, and clear communication with the project staff regarding all aspects of the project activities.
- Contributes in supporting MEAL process and deliver regular narrative and progress reports.
- Communicate with the relevant donor personnel with respect to the practical implementation and technical demands.
- Managing the production of the required deliverables include narrative reports and final report following donor’s requirements.
- Identifying and obtaining support and advice required for the management, planning and control of the project
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, international development or non - profit management.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project coordination and/or project management.
- Arabic mother tongue. Fluency in verbal and written English is essential.
- Excellent writing skills both Arabic and English.
- High organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs for Microsoft Office suite especially Excel.
- Knowledge in MEAL.
- Accurate and detailed–oriented personality.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and extra working hours when needed.
- Readiness to conduct field visits and attend workshops and meetings related to the project all over the districts of the West Bank.
- Bethlehem or Jerusalem resident is preferable.
- Age less than 50 years.
