Project Coordinator
The Hebron Youth Development Resource Center (HYDRC) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth in the Hebron region through civic engagement, governance, and community development initiatives. As part of our ongoing efforts, we are launching the Empowering Voices: Strengthening Governance and Civic Engagement in Hebron project, aimed at increasing participation, particularly among women and youth, in local decision-making processes.
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to lead this initiative. The ideal candidate will have experience in governance, civic engagement, and working in the Hebron region, with a focus on fieldwork and collaboration with local stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Local Governments and CSOs mapping and engagement strategy.
- Coordinate project orientation sessions for local governments and CSOs.
- Plan and manage Positive Deviance (PD) training for youth leaders.
- Oversee the recruitment and support of youth advocates.
- Organize community dialogue sessions between local governments and citizens.
- Supervise the creation and promotion of media and digital outreach initiatives.
- Lead the planning and execution of community hackathons.
- Facilitate accountability sessions with local governments.
- Coordinate the youth summit to showcase youth-led initiatives.
- Conduct regular field visits.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Political Science, International Relations, or any related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably within governance, civic engagement, or community development.
- Proven experience working with local governments, civil society organizations, and youth in the West Bank, particularly in Hebron.
- Experience with donor-funded projects (e.g., USAID, EU) is highly desirable.
Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
- Excellent field skills with extensive experience working in Hebron and surrounding areas.
- Proven ability to build relationships with local governments, CSOs, and community leaders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Competency in using digital tools and social media for community outreach and advocacy.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in project management, particularly in governance and civic engagement projects.
