Project Overview
Creative Associates seeks two Project Coordinators for the USAID-funded West Bank and Gaza (WBG) Basic Education Activity, which will strengthen education services for Palestinian children of KG 1 through Grade 6 that enable them to thrive and reach their full developmental potential. Under the Basic Education Activity, USAID seeks to work with the private sector, non-formal, non-governmental, community-based, UN, and civil society partners to strengthen early childhood and primary educational opportunities through high quality early childhood education services and supplemental support structures to strengthen foundational pre-primary and primary education for children in the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem. Specific areas of focus include strengthening foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, social emotional learning (SEL)/soft skills, building teacher and student resilience capabilities and assets.

Position Summary
The Project Coordinators will play a crucial role in the execution and monitoring of the BEA Activity in Gaza. The Project Coordinators will be assigned to coordinate interventions within their assigned geographical area in the Gaza Strip. The Project Coordinators will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the project deliverables are met on time and within scope. The Project Coordinators will also be responsible for maintaining clear communication channels, managing project documentation, and providing regular updates to the Gaza Lead. Two Project Coordinators will be hired.
Reporting & Supervision:
The Project Coordinators will report to the Sr. Education Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Sr. Education Specialist, and Gaza ECE and Primary Education Officers to plan and implement activities, timelines, and resources required.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives.
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders (CBOs and donors) to gather project requirements and expectations.
- Foster positive relationships with partners (CBOs and donors) and all stakeholders involved in the project.
- Coordinate collection of participant databases, cross-check them with attendance sheets, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct regular field visits to ensure that implementation of project activities is all set.
- Coordinate with the Gaza Lead to ensure all purchase orders are filed as per procurement policies.
- Oversee the day-to-day implementation of the project, ensuring adherence to established timelines and quality standards.
- Identify and problem solve any challenges or roadblocks that may arise during project execution.
- Report to Sr. Education Specialist on challenges, lessons learned, and suggestions/potential solutions and implement them.
- Follow the monitoring and evaluation framework to track project progress and outcomes.
- Conduct regular site visits to the CBOs and gather data and ensure compliance with project objectives.
- Prepare project reports, as requested by the Lead.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM fields or Education or related specialization
- At least two years’ relevant work experience, preferably in a Local/ International NGO.
- Knowledge and understanding of quality education principles, STEM, TVET and STEAM approaches.
- Fluency in English both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to details; strong organizational skills.
- Good personal, communication and team coordination skills.
- Excellent organization and time management.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Highly committed, able to work under pressure, adapt to new situations, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in working in conflict areas and understanding the local context is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office
