About PFI:

The Palestinian Federation of Industries (PFI) is a national umbrella institution representing the Palestinian industrial sector through its 16 industrial associations. Founded in 1999 as a permanent non-profit private sector organization. PFI’s representational role is to educate, advocate, and communicate the value of a developed socially responsible, and globally competitive industry. PFI’s industrial development strategy within industry associations leads to a stronger membership base capable of delivering valuable member services, effective policy formulation, and integrated communications.

The PFI seeks to Establish an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) unit to provide legally grounded mediation and arbitration services for industrial disputes in Gaza, ensuring compliance with legal principles and industry regulations.

Therefore, The Palestinian Federation of Industries (PFI) is seeking to hire a Project Coordinator to implement the project activities under the following terms:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of the Project according to the set plans and objectives.
  • Provide legal support and consultations in resolving industrial and commercial disputes when needed.
  • Conduct studies and prepare reports on legal challenges facing industrialists and traders.
  • Strengthen arbitration and dispute resolution mechanisms through workshops and awareness sessions.
  • Communicate and coordinate with official institutions, and local and international partners to ensure effective project execution.
  • Monitor legal issues related to the industrial sector and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare periodic reports on project progress and provide recommendations to achieve objectives.
  • Follow up with the donor and send action plans and reports when needed.

متطلبات الوظيفة

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Arbitration, Economics, management, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the industrial sector, particularly in resolving legal and commercial disputes.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international laws and regulations governing the industrial and commercial sectors.
  • Experience working with international organizations or donor-funded projects.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills in dispute resolution and problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage projects and effectively communicate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using computer programs and preparing legal reports.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
