Project Coordinator

Islamic Relief (IR) is a humanitarian NGO working in Palestine since 1998. Islamic Relief helps the needy people without regard to creed, race, gender, or ethnicity. It works on achieving economic and social welfare through its joint development and emergency programmes with the local community. Islamic Relief announces the following vacancies for its offices in West Bank.

Title: Project Coordinator
Ref: PC/WB/32/2010
Duration: eight months (Full Time)
Location: Hebron
Project: Yatta hospital

Overall Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of PM, the PC is to be responsible for the overall coordination of Yatta hospital project, provide direction and management for implementing work plans, keep record of all project documents.

Candidates must possess the following competencies:

-Bachelor degree in health related (public health, biomedical engineering, or a related field)
-Minimum three years of increasinglyresponsible experience in health projects management, preferably in international NGOs.
-Knowledge of Palestinian health system (hospitals, clinics….).
-Experience in technical specifications, accessories for medical equipments.
-Excellent Knowledge of Project management theory, principles and practices.

General Skills required for all applicants :
-Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
-Interpersonal skills and good communication skills
-Excellent computer skills
-Fluency in English (written and spoken)
-Excellent repot writing skills
