Project Driver/Logistician

The USAID-funded Palestinian Health Sector Development and Reform Project (the Flagship Project) is a five-year project funded by USAID and implemented by Chemonics International Inc. to support the Palestinian Ministry of Health and other key non-governmental health providers in developing a vibrant, sustainable, and efficient health system to improve the quality of life for the Palestinian people. The Flagship Project is currently recruiting highly motivated professionals specializing in the following areas:

Project Driver/Logistician (long-term):
-Extensive experience in navigating the roads and checkpoints in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Israel, preferably for international development projects.
- Excellent understanding of traffic laws and appropriate security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of project staff members.
-Provide assistance in ensuring all project equipment and supplies are utilized and maintained according to USAID and project policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Participate in all aspects of project involving moving equipment and supplies to their intended destination.
- Assist with project procurement by maintaining transparent systems for choosing vendors that are compliant with USAID regulations.
- At least five (5) years experience as driver and logistician in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and other locations in the region.
-Must be fluent in Arabic and English and must have all necessary documentation to drive in the West Bank, Jerusalem and Israel.
