Contract Type: Full time
Duration: 6 months contract with possibility of renewal based on funds and performance

Organization
BCITE was established in 2017 with the mission of stimulating the establishment and growth of startup companies, entrepreneurship, and cooperatives in order to foster job creation and enhanced economic growth in the country and the overall MENA region. The business center was established in response to a communal need for economic empowerment for Palestinians in Jerusalem and the surrounding communities through entrepreneurship given the presence of pressing economic constraints. The organization seeks to bring forth and develop technology innovation within Palestine while maintaining and establishing local and international partnerships that help bridge the education-industry gap in the country.
Background:
The Business Center for Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (BCITE) is seeking a qualified and proactive Implementation Officer to oversee the implementation of startup, freelancing, and cooperative projects in the incubator. This role involves executing project activities, coordinating with partners and beneficiaries, monitoring progress, and ensuring that deliverables are met on time and in alignment with donor and organizational standards.
Core Responsibilities:
Project Implementation & Coordination
- Contribute to the development of detailed work plans, implementation strategies, and operational processes to support successful project delivery.
- Provide project management and coordination support for specific activities and projects of small to moderate size and complexity.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams and field staff to ensure efficient and timely implementation of activities.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
- Support the establishment and maintenance of robust data collection and monitoring systems to ensure high-quality and consistent reporting.
- Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports on project activities, progress, and outcomes to support informed decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
- Liaise with the Monitoring & Evaluation team to ensure that data is properly collected, verified, and analyzed for reporting and learning purposes.
- Assist program managers and grant manager in developing project documents, concept notes, and proposals based on evidence and field learning.
Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with local authorities, partners, community members, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and collaboration.
- Support the identification and management of potential partnerships to strengthen service delivery and enhance impact.
Capacity Building & Knowledge Sharing
- Support the design and facilitation of training sessions or learning initiatives for staff, implementing partners, or community stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and technical assistance to field staff and support personnel as needed.
Team and Support Functions
- Serve as a point of contact and technical reference for support staff, assisting them in resolving issues and providing guidance as needed.
- Ensure close coordination with internal units (e.g., logistics, finance, procurement) to align project operations and resolve implementation bottlenecks.
Other Duties
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor to support the effective delivery of the program.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Information technology, Development Studies, Project Management, Social Sciences, or relevant field.
- 2–4 years of experience in project implementation, preferably with NGOs.
- Background donor project reporting and compliance standards
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Experience in working with communities across Palestine, specifically Jerusalem and the West Bank

- Computer literacy (especially MS Office, project management tools, data entry systems)
Level of Responsibility:
- High level of autonomy in managing incubator project
- Expected to exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion in handling project implementation
- Responsible for quality implementation, effective communication, reporting accuracy, and compliance with workplans
