Position Title: Project Manager – Mobile Services

Your Job: The Project Manager – Mobile Services works with fellow Project Managers and
Software Developers to lead end-to-end implementation of mobile projects for Souktel clients.
This position is full-time, based in Ramallah, Palestine. The level of effort (LOE) for this position is
equivalent to 40 hours per week. This position reports to Souktel’s senior management and may
involve the supervision of interns.

Your Responsibilities:
-Prepare draft pitch documents, budgets and product demos for clients/new prospects.
-Hold initial meetings with clients/new prospects: present and demonstrate technology.
-Work with clients to understand use cases/business needs and general technical scoping.
-Communicate client needs to Software Project Managers, work with Software Project
Managers to identify additional technical requirements, costs and timelines/milestones.
-Manage the set-up of network connectivity for new services, in partnership with mobile
networks.
-Maintain communication between client and IT team during development/testing phase.
-Manage all project budget, vendor/consultant reporting and invoicing.
-Carry out user-side quality assurance testing of new products, prior to client release.
-Deliver finished product; train client on technology use, and provide follow-up user support to
client as needed.
-Liaise with media outlets to showcase finished products/services.
-Represent Souktel at project-related events across Palestine.

Required Qualifications:
-Native proficiency in English. Excellent professional English writing skills.
-Minimum 3 years’ prior employment as a project manager for a USAID/DFID/EU/UN
implementing organization.
-Prior experience managing “ICT for Development” projects (preferably “Mobile for
Development” projects) for international development organizations/aid agencies.

Desired Qualifications:
-Proficient spoken and written French.
-Graduate degree(s) in computer science and/or business; PMP/CAPM certification
