Department: Education Program – Welfare Association “Taawon”


Job Title: Bridge Palestine Project Manager
Contract Duration: Fixed term, 2 years’ full time contract
Location: Taawon’s Main office in Ramallah, with frequent travel to West Bank including Jerusalem
Reports to: Education Program Manager

Purpose of Position: Bear the overall responsibility of managing Bridge Palestine Program including the
management of action plans, budget, fundraising, internal and external reporting, HR management, media
and communication.

General Overview: Bridge Palestine is a 3 year capacity building program targeting 400 select tenth graders.
The project aims to optimize opportunities for high achieving, innovative and distinguished students in
Palestine to enroll in internationally acclaimed universities. It offers selected students a multi-level and
multi-year capacity building in order for them to become a recognizable force in the academic world.

Responsibilities & Duties:

In accordance with established Taawon policy and regulations and in close cooperation with the Education

Program Manager:
Strategy and Governance:
- Coordinate the process of the overall strategy development of Bridge Palestine Program
- Propose, discuss and eventually implement the strategic directions of the program’s sponsors that
include setting up and monitoring key performance indicators.

Program Management:

- Lead the process of program development including formulation of action plans of the Bridge
Palestine interventions.
- Manage the sub-projects of Bridge Palestine Program and ensuring adherence to the Taawon
strategic plan declared objectives, and compliance to Taawon and donors requirements.
- Monitor the implementation progress to ensure the achievement of program deliverables in a
quantitative, qualitative, and timely fashion.
- Manage the process of evaluation and assessment of Bridge Palestine Program, projects and
activities.
- Prepare and manage bridge Palestine budget properly.
- Prepare periodic progress reports including budget, success stories, lesson learned, and
recommendations to develop Bridge Palestine program.
Fundraising:
- Suggest and oversee fundraising strategy.
- Target new potential donors for Bridge Palestine Program.
- Document baselines, progress, and reports to donors.

Qualification:

- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration (or a related field) from an
accredited university.
- A minimum of 7 years relevant work experience.
- Excellent English and Arabic language skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
