General Description:
The Project Manager tasks involves functionally supporting the Payment System Department Director, in addition to administratively reporting projects’ status to the Planning Department Director.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day project activity.
- Carrying out project’s activities according to the approved plan.
- Issue related project reports including but not limited to deviations in the plan and recommended corrective actions.
- Define the critical paths of the managed project.
- Identify and manage project’s risks and how to mitigate them.
- Periodic communications with the stakeholders and make sure they are all well informed about the project’s activities and performance according to stakeholder’s expectations, as per the project-planned deliverables.
- Work closely with business owners and the software vendors in order to have the deliverables according to the expectations and the allocated time frame.
- Issue reports according to the PMA’s project management methodology.
- Follow-up with the IT, Procurement and Finance departments about the project related issues (including invoices sign-off by business owners).

Qualifications:
- IT or Engineering Bachelor Degree.
- PMP certificate or related certificate from PMI. Prince2 certification is an advantage. Academic Requirements
- Knowledgeable in IT infrastructure implementation and management, including Databases, networks, SAN storage and high availability. Experience in these fields should be not less than 3 years
- Has Project management knowledge and experience for no less than 3 years, in addition to involvement in running projects with international parties, which is an advantage.
- Has managed at least three projects successfully; one of them should be with a budget exceeding $500,000 and preferably executed under International parties supervision.
