Project Manager-Sanitary & Environmental Expert

A local company specialized in the provision of Sustainable Environmental Solutions (SES) in the sphere of water and wastewater sector is seeking a Project Manager- Sanitary Environmental Expert to promote sustainable technologies for water and wastewater management in Palestine. The potential candidate shall possess at least three years of practicable and referenced experience in all aspects of studying, planning, lobbying, evaluating, designing and constructing water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities, both in Palestine and abroad. He shall participated in the design, and construction phase of water and wastewater treatment plants. As a project
manager he shall show construction management skills and general management experience to assist in hiring and management of other consultants. Responsibilities also include providing problem solving, bids evaluation and estimations, feasibility proposal, water and wastewater treatment technology selection, process design, plant detail design supervision, project execution management and supervision. He shall ample expertise in key accounts plant and equipment commissioning, operation and troubleshooting supervision, consultancy work with after sales service implementation supervision and management.

As an a Water & Wastewater Expert he shall have a solid background in Sanitary and Environmental Engineering or Civil & Environmental Engineering with particular expertise in biological wastewater treatment, water filtration, and membrane-based separation technologies pertaining to water and wastewater management, pollution prevention, and the treatment of industrial wastewaters and hazardous wastes. He is knowledgeable of waste minimization, waste surveys and analysis (involvin sampling and lab analysis protocols), industrial water management and treatment,
project management, process design and wastewater treatment equipment selection, control systems for treatment plants, operator training programs, and troubleshooting of existing treatment plants.

There will be three months evaluation period. The salary is based on experience and
academic rank.
