Project Officer
The purpose of this position is to provide support to the project manager in the day-to-day operations for implementing the project activities of "Green Palestine: Promoting a Sustainable Environment for Children, Their Families, and Communities in Areas B and C of the West Bank." The officer's role is to assist the project manager in coordinating and implementing planned activities in alignment with the project design and donor regulations. BMZ's project is a 36-month project that targets 40 communities located in Hebron, Jordan Valley, Salfit, and Qalqilya within Areas B and C. The overarching objective of the project is to improve the practices and attitudes of children, caregivers, and communities in the specified regions with a particular emphasis on climate change mitigation, adaptation, and environmental protection.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Natural Resource Management, Agriculture or a related field.
- A minimum of three years' relevant experience in environmental project management, including implementation and monitoring.
- Understanding of environmental regulations, climate change issues and sustainable development practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey environmental concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experienced in data collection and reporting.
- Experience in project management cycle
- Solid knowledge in Microsoft Office and other applications
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Have a valid driving license
- Strong identification with World Vision's core values
